そのすぐ裏側の半田山の上の方に、東京に事務所を構える超売れっ子建築家夫妻の設計によるカッチョイイ住宅があります。そこを見に行ってみたんですが、やはり凄い！
まるで屋根が浮いているようで、その単純なフォルムとエッジに効いた大きな庇は、それだけで十分な存在感がありました！建築雑誌でもよく見かける住宅というか、作品ですが、それだけのことはあります。
住宅って、建築家の独りよがりでもいけないし、施主が「こっちは客なんだ！」というスタンスでも難しい。。波長が合えば、金額に関わらず最高のものが出来上がるんだけど。
色んなお客さんと話していると、ほんとに十人十色です。例えばこの住宅が生まれるまで、どんなドラマがあったのかなぁ？。そう考えるだけでやっぱ建築って面白いなぁと思います。いい建築に出会うたびに大きな刺激を受けます。
