こんにちわ と こんにちは。一体どちらの表記が正しいのでしょうか。意味

こんにちわ と こんにちは。
一体どちらの表記が正しいのでしょうか。
意味合いを調べたら「今日は」から来ている挨拶で
多分「こんにちは」の方が合っていそうな気がしますが
「こんにちわ」と書く方もいますよね。

…長年日本人やってますけど、よくわかりません。
皆様のご意見を聞かせて下さい。宜しくお願いします
